Low simmer for a couple of hours or until chicken is fully cooked. it is a true comfort food and fun to make.&lt;br /&gt;We made a frittata ( I call it a baked omelet because after I add the eggs I place it in the oven) with turkey sausage, peppers, onion, and served with some fresh berries. "Compari" tomatoes, very yummy. It was a great deal. This pan is dishwasher safe, so they say. We made a stirfry the other night with shrimp and vegetables. The new pan was great and look forward to use it more. If you are looking for new pans, I reccomend these for the house. They really do have some good products and great prices, I could shop there for my work if I wanted to, and would save a lot of money, too. Just easier to have someone deliver your order to you. There are a couple of ways you can do this:&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;You can use a crock pot, aka slow cooker, or take your time if you have it and &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;do it in steps.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I made asian style short ribs (first time), with ginger, sweet-chili mai ploy, garlic, onion, mustard, teriyaki, and broth.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;First thing I do is season the ribs with snp, and sear them with sesame oil for about 30 seconds on each side place in cooking pan, and follow with more ribs that need to be seared.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Next, remove excess oil, and add garlic, onion, saute for about 1 minute, or till golden. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Add remaining ingredients, fresh scallions and cilantro are great to use too, ( I was out of these 2 ingredients). Add liquid to ribs and braise for about 2 hours on 350 F, basically till meat is fallen off the bone.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;These ribs are more fatty than baby back ribs, which I are my favorite, but do have a great flavor and are super succulent. We ate these with the French beans and tomatoes, no starch, because Im trying to cut my carbs, funny because as Im typing this, I just ordered a pizza.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Pretty much whatever type of flavor you want you can do, american...add use bbq sauce of course...mexican use fresh chile peppers, ground.. It is comfort food for my soul. Marinating is one of my favorite things to do with different types of meats, spices, sauces, BBQs, etc. I do find fried wings to be overrated, and actually enjoy them to be baked, grilled, or even seared in a pan, deglazed and finished in the oven with some added liquid for a nice natural stock. It was really good. We got a couple of apps; proscuitto and melon (cool presentation), and the clams and mussels with tomato broth (small portion for price but very good with bread). Kristy got the Ravioli with smoked mozz, and pesto sauce, very nice, and I got the Vitello porcini with a baked penne and cheese, and a side of the rapini, (aka broccoli rabe, great vegetable with garlic and awesome to use in pasta dishes too). My only complaint was that the portion of veal was small, but good for me because I want to lose weight. We had a bottle of the pinot noir, 47 pound rooster, very nice. No dessert but they sounded good. For dinner, I had seconds... Kristy made chicken pot pie last night which was awesome, and tonight she said we can have it again. I was happy about it because it was better the next day.
