Carpaccio

Kristy and I went to Carpaccio, in the new park place in Annapolis on west st,for dinner last night, which I have been looking forward to try out. It was really good. We got a couple of apps; proscuitto and melon (cool presentation), and the clams and mussels with tomato broth (small portion for price but very good with bread). Kristy got the Ravioli with smoked mozz, and pesto sauce, very nice, and I got the Vitello porcini with a baked penne and cheese, and a side of the rapini, (aka broccoli rabe, great vegetable with garlic and awesome to use in pasta dishes too). My only complaint was that the portion of veal was small, but good for me because I want to lose weight. We had a bottle of the pinot noir, 47 pound rooster, very nice. No dessert but they sounded good. Great service and would reccomend.

rolling

Still new to this and look forward to set it up more with more pics and recipes.
Today, at work I made lobster bisque, pork picatta, and plan on making banana fosters for a chef table for my old friends. For dinner, I had seconds... Kristy made chicken pot pie last night which was awesome, and tonight she said we can have it again. I was happy about it because it was better the next day. She made it with a puff pastry crust. Recipes and photos to come.
Thanks to my good friend Lauren for introducing this to me. Take care.

Pilot

Hello, My wife Kristy and I were in Baltimore this weekend with our friends Kevin and Lauren. We had a great time at a restaurant called Rocket to Venus. Great food and atmosphere. Reasonablely priced. The food was simple and good with very fresh ingredients. Everyone was satisfied with the food and service.
